Adirondack Shelters (5) – 2 shelters renovated, another on it's way.  Cabin being considered soon.  We are looking for individual and corporate sponsors to help us refurbish them!  Call Ranger Vin at 287-2669 if you'd like to help

Annual Brooksvale Festival which began in 2000 is held each year on the 3rd Saturday in October.  Photos HERE

Archery Range - Scheduled use only with Hamden Bowmen - Try your skill each year at the Brooksvale Festival. Contact the Hamden Bowmen through the park ranger  if you'd like to learn more about archery and learn how!
Barn – Used for Maintenance & Storage and educational programs from time to time

Birding - Walks led from time to time by FOB member & Park Naturalist Tom Parlapiano.  Photos HERE
Cabin – Under Renovation/Not available at this time, looking for individual and corporate sponsor to help us refurbish this!
Camping - Organized self-insured Groups Only, call 287-2669

Domestic Animal Barnyard - PLEASE, do not feed the animals!  Photos HERE

Picnic Area & Picnic Pavilion (20’ x 40’) - Charcoal grills (6) - Available for rent, contact the ranger at 287-2669 NOT the Friends of Brooksvale.  Pines Picnic Area near pond.
Pond for Ice Skating & Nature Study
Restroom Facilities - seasonal
Sledding - 2 areas - 1 steep, past pond, 1 gentle, near softball field

Veterans Memorial Building
- For nature education, meetings, summer camp.  Recently renovated kitchen, bathrooms and meeting area.  Lower level plans in the works.  Available for rent, contact the ranger at 287-2669 NOT the Friends of Brooksvale!

Walk, Bike or Hike along the Farmington Canal Trail.

Wildlife Garden - Near playground.  Designed and planted by Chris Traester when he was an eagle scout.  Interpretive guide in wood box near entrance.
